After a secretive return from Shinsoo-do, the king is attacked by an assassin and selects Irai, a reluctant guardian spirit, as his bodyguard. As Irai tries to escape his new role, he inadvertently draws the king’s intense curiosity. One night, after sharing drinks, Irai discovers the king's unsettling and dangerous side, thrusting him into a perilous situation.
